Avera Hands-Free Mop

Does the stairs landing, the hallway and the kitchen on one tank. Flat head gets right into the corners which the round spin mop never managed. Solid purchase for the money.

I have a rescue dog who sheds constantly. Dry pad first picks up the hair, then wet pad and it's done. Used to be hoover then mop, now it's one job.

The wringing lever is the bit that sold me. You push down and the pad comes out damp, not soaking. Hands stay completely dry which I did not expect.

Cat sick, muddy paws, spilt coffee, all in one week. Wet side handled all of it. The dry side is basically a big Swiffer that you never buy refills for.

Bought it after seeing my sister's. Hers is about a year old and still going, which is why I didn't hesitate. Mine's been fine for four months so far.

i mop barefoot after and thats the real test. no sticky residue, no film, just clean. took about 15 mins for the whole downstairs

Been using it since around Christmas so a good few months now. Nothing has broken, no smell off the pads, and the wheels still roll. Holding up better than the spin mop it replaced.

Replaced a spin mop that had started to smell no matter how much I rinsed it. This one you can actually see inside, so you know when it's clean. Big difference on dark hardwood.

Wife bought it, I was dismissive, I now use it more than she does. The lever wringing is oddly satisfying. Floors dry before you've put it away.

Works really well on our tile and the flat head gets under the radiator, which nothing else did. Bucket is a bit heavy to carry upstairs when full so I fill it in the bath. Otherwise a good buy for us.

Does the job and my kitchen floor dries fast. Only thing is the handle needs tightening every few weeks or it loosens slightly. Thirty seconds to fix so not a big deal.

Ordered on the Monday and it turned up Thursday. Handle screws together in about four minutes. Did the whole open-plan downstairs on one fill and the water came out black.

Pads wash fine at 40 with the towels. I've done maybe fifteen washes and they still grip the dust. No fabric softener, that was the tip I got and it seems to matter.

ok i wasnt expecting to care this much about a mop. the clean water actually stays clean so youre not just moving dirt around. my laminate has never looked this good

I did my kitchen and hallway and then looked at the dirty tank. Absolutely grim, and that used to be what I was spreading around with my old mop. Genuinely put me off string mops for good.

Used it on tile, vinyl and sealed wood in the same afternoon with no issues. Floor was walkable again by the time I'd emptied the bucket. Very little streaking, which was my worry.

The 360 head means I can go round chair legs without lifting it off the floor. Sounds minor until you've done a dining room. Whole thing took ten minutes.

It cleans well and I don't regret buying it. The pads do take a while to air dry so with four of them I rotate. If you only had two you'd notice that.

Third week of using it and my floors genuinely feel different underfoot. Not sticky the way they got with the old spray mop. I think that's the clean water thing.

Really pleased with how clean the floors come up. The bucket is wide so it doesn't fit under my low tap and I fill it with a jug. Worth mentioning if your sink is shallow.

my kids track mud through the back door every single day. this handles it without me having to fill and empty a bucket three times. the dirty side gets disgusting which honestly is satisfying

Very good on hard floors, no complaints on the cleaning. Bit bulky to lug up two flights of stairs so I keep it downstairs and use a smaller one up top. Would still buy it again.

The bit I didn't expect is how little water you use. One fill does the whole ground floor. My old routine was three bucket changes minimum.

My floors are dark grey tile which show absolutely everything. This is the first mop that hasn't left a streaky film across them. Been using it since February.

I'd been using a wet jet and buying refill pads constantly. Four washable pads came in the box and I've not bought anything since. Cheaper in the long run and it actually cleans.

The transparent bucket is the clever part. You can see the clean side staying clean while the other one turns brown. Makes it obvious the thing is actually working.
